Quantum Freshwater Cup

Little Traverse Yacht Club along with our neighboring clubs of Boyne City Yacht Club, Charlevoix Yacht Club, and Grand Traverse Yacht Club are part of a new sailing event: the 2011 Quantum Freshwater Cup. The four clubs together with Quantum Sail Design Group are excited about a new cup series based on participation in the signature regattas of each of our regattas.

The 2011 Quantum Freshwater Cup includes:

Boyne City Yacht Club’s Mark Madness, June 11-12
Grand Traverse Yacht Club’s Hound Dog Regatta, June 18-19
LTYC’s Regatta, July 29-31
Charlevoix Yacht Club’s Red Fox Regatta, September 3-4.

The four clubs are working together to promote sailing in Northern Michigan and the opportunity to take part in the regattas of each of our clubs. Participants must sail in three of the four regattas. The award ceremony will take place at the Red Fox Regatta.
