Bay Cup Regatta
The inaugural BAY CUP 2011 REGATTA on August 27. This is a challenge race between LTYC and Bay Harbor Yacht Club. The format will be like a Saturday afternoon edition of Tuesday Night racing with Bay Harbor boats competing. There will be two divisions: one with spinnakers and one without. There will be individual awards as well as an award to the winning Yacht Club.
We envision this as a yearly event with a rotating trophy that will probably always be kept on our side of the bay! An awards presentation and a social event will be held at Bay Harbor Yacht Club immediately after racing from approximately 1600 to 1800 hrs. Non-racers are also be invited to the party. The party is being hosted by Bay Harbor with a cash bar. Notice of race, sailing instructions and the entry form are here:
